So, I'm these days looking up for some animation drafts/Lead Sheets that they're not part of animated movie (like Alice In Wonderland) or not posted by Devon Baxter. Id anyone of animation historians have animation drafts comment on this blog. Today We're on the early east coast animation with Terrytoons draft.
People who animated on this short are: Art Babbit, Paul Terry, Jerry Shields, Frank Moser, Charles Sarka and Ferd Hovarth. Paul Terry was at the same time animator and director and soon he became producer of Terrytoons. Art Babbit was animator at Terrytoons until 1932 he removed to Walt Disney. Jerry Shields was an animator since beggining at Terrytoons until 1939 he commited suicide. Frank Moser was an animator and co-director until 1936 when biusness deal gone wrong. After that he was running an art club until his death.
Jerry Beck noted that each Terrytoons short (including this one) took three weeks to animate, and was released ten weeks later. We can infer that this cartoon was animated between August 22 and September 5, 1930.
